TITLE: 2010 Sunday Evening “Concerts In The Woods” at Chester Heights Camp Meeting
 
 The public is invited to attend the 138th Season of performances, worship, dinners and events at camp meeting. June 13th “The Rockdale Boys” Gospel Bluegrass Band; June 26-27 Missions Weekend with Bert Jones, President of “Go International;” July 11th Harmony Ministries Southern Gospel  Band;  July 17-18 Campmeeting Weekend with Evangelist Rev. Don Donaldson from Guatemala;  July 25th The Zimmerman Family Gospel Bluegrass Band;  August 1st Christian Comedian Gordon Douglas; August 8th Promise Land Trio;  August 15th Gospel recording artist “Ruthie;” August 22nd Youth Night with Jamie & Friends; August 29th Gospel Bluegrass Band “The Hagans Family” of Lancaster County;  September 5th Jim & Wendy;  September 12th Sunnyside Gospel Bluegrass Band; Sept 19th Closing Program.
 
All concerts begin at 7:00pm with an old fashioned campmeeting hymn sing. A love offering is collected. Refreshments and fellowship at the end of each night.  Four of the concert dates feature special dinners, most beginning at  5pm:  Sunday, June 13 Hot Dog Dinner, Saturday June 26th Covered Dish Dinner, Saturday July 17 Covered Dish Dinner, and Sunday, Sept 12th (4-6pm) Country Chicken BBQ.
 
All other concert nights, guests are welcome to bring their dinner and dine in the picnic grove after 5:00 pm. Some of the historic Victorian cottages may be toured a half-hour prior to the concerts.
 
The Camp Meeting is located at 320 Valleybrook Road (Rte 261,) one mile South of US Route 1 (Baltimore Pike,) at the Smithbridge Road traffic light.
 
Chester Heights Camp Meeting Association is an evangelical religious organization that works with area churches. They are located on 31 acres, with 150 year-old trees, hiking trails, children's playground, several Victorian public buildings, such as an original gazebo that seats 120 people, and 60 century-old Victorian summer cottages.
