TITLE: Chester Heights Camp Meeting Revival Weekend

Rev. Dr. James W. DiRaddo, an international evangelist, will speak at the
Chester Heights Camp Meeting revival on Saturday July 25 and Sunday, July 26 at
7:00 pm. A covered dish supper will also be held at 5:00 pm, both days. Rev.
DiRaddo has spoken for 55 years in conferences and evangelistic crusades
throughout the United States, Canada, South America, Africa and Asia. He has
served as consultant and lecturer in training seminars for university/seminary
students, pastors, educators and missionary school teachers and administrators.
Currently he is an adjunct professor at Palmer Theological Seminary in
Philadelphia.
A Native of Camden, New Jersey, Dr. Di Raddo earned his Doctor of Ministry
degree at the Luther Rice Seminary, his Bachelor of Arts degree at Asbury
College, his Master's degree at Temple University and has done graduate study at
the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, and the New School for Social
Research in New York City. As a Emeritus member of the Board of Regents of the
Oxford Graduate School he attends the reading and research study at the
University of Oxford, England, every year, reading at the Bodleian Library and
the library of the Oxford Center for Mission Study. His wife, Dr. Colleen Di
Raddo, is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and director of Institutional
Effectiveness at Palmer Theological Seminary.
The revival and refreshments are free and will take place, rain or shine. A love
offering will be taken during the concert. There will be a free tour of some
historic Victorian cottages, a half hour prior to the concert. If you attend the
covered dish supper, please bring food to share.
The Camp Meeting is located at 320 Valleybrook Road (Rte 261,) one mile South of
US Route 1 (Baltimore Pike,) at the Smithbridge Road traffic light.
Chester Heights Camp Meeting Association is an evangelical religious
organization that works with area churches. They are located on 31 acres, with
150 year-old trees, hiking trails, children's playground, several Victorian
public buildings, such as an original gazebo that seats 120 people, and 60
century-old Victorian summer cottages. It’s listed on the National Registry of
