New Camp Meeting Website Launched

1872 Historic Camp Meeting continues it's trend of progress

 September 1, 2009

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chester Heights Camp Meeting Association has announced a complete dedesign of their website, www.ch-campmeeting.org to promote the programs of their 31 acre historic religious site, which was founded in 1872 and has operated continuously since then.

President Pat Smith, of Aston, PA said “This project has been some time in the making, and we felt it was necessary to have a public relations website to better inform the public about us, as well as our upcoming concerts, events, programs and our annual revival.   We have achieved that goal with this latest website release.”

The site also includes information about our new youth music camps which were held this summer, and many historical photos.   All of its 65 Victorian cottages are over 100 years old.  A sampling of cottages can be toured for free, prior to each Sunday evening concert.  A list of the concerts and programs, which extend until September 20th of this year, is available on the website.

The campmeeting is interested in borrowing any historic photos that anyone may have of the camp meeting, it's cottages or former cottage owners, while at camp meeting.

For those without access to the internet, Mrs. Smith can be reached at (610) 459-5678 or by writing to PO Box 78, Chester Heights, PA 19017.  She can also be emailed from the website or at psmith610@gmail.com
