Camp info:
Dates- Monday July 26th-
Thursday July 29th
Time- 9am-3pm
(Monday, Tuesday & Thursday)
Time- 9am-5pm (Wednesday)
Bring- Bagged lunch
Cost- $275.00 per camper
End of the week Performance- Thursday July
29th at 3:30pm
The Camp:
Do you LOVE singing? Have you ever wondered what it
would be like to record a song in a real professional
recording studio? Well then this is the camp for YOU!
The Week:
This camp is for
beginners (ages 8-18) who love to sing, dance, record
music, and even act! Throughout the week the campers
will have lessons in vocals, dance, performing, and
acting. They will learn 2 original songs (previously
written by Jamie & Ashley) specifically written for
them, as well as one cover song of their choice! They
will learn the vocals and dance choreography to each of
the songs, The campers will also have a photo shoot for
the album cover of the CD they will record. On
Wednesday they will be driven to Jamland Studio (in
Wilmington, DE, near the Concord Mall) to record their 3
songs! This week of camp will be full of new
experiences. Then on Thursday, the campers will receive
a copy of the CD and a certificate for completing this
camp before performing their songs for their family and
friends at the “End of the Week Performance”.

The Camp:
If you like singing, dancing, acting,
song-writing, and recording music, then this is
the camp for YOU!
The Week:
This camp is for the more advanced campers.
The advanced Level camp is for campers who
have previously completed Star Quality Level
1 camp or who have received consent from
Jamie. It is for children and teens (ages 8
to 18) who love to sing, dance, write songs,
and even act! Throughout the week, the
campers will have lessons in vocals, song
writing, dance, performing and acting. They
will learn 2 original songs (previously
written by Jamie & Ashley) specifically
written for them! They will learn the vocals
and dance choreography to each song. After
having lessons in song-writing, they will be
given a “beat” and asked to write their own
song as the Steps to Stardom Campers! The
campers will also have a photo shoot for the
album cover of the CD that they will record.
On Wednesday they will be driven to Jamland
Studio (in Wilmington, DE, near Concord
Mall) to record their 2 original songs from
Jamie & Ashley, and their song written by
them! At the end of the week, all parents,
family and friends are invited to see the
campers sing and dance to their 3 original
songs! Each camper will receive a
certificate of completion of the camp and a
copy of the CD.

About the Instructor:
Jamie’s passion is musical theatre,
singing, dancing, and acting. Over eleven years of
dance training, Jamie has competed in solo and group
dance throughout the east coast winning awards such
as silver, gold, platinum and highest score. She has
done community theatre for many years, adding up to
more than 18 musicals she has starred in. In the
summer of 2007, she competed in and attended the
Gospel Music Association where she placed in
the semi finals out of hundreds of contestants. She
even auditioned for American Idol two seasons
ago, but unfortunately did not make the cut.
Recently, Jamie moved to Orlando, FL
for five months to film a new reality TV show
called Triple Threat, a show for teens who
sing, act, and dance. Jamie made it to the top five
contestants. Jamie Marie also appeared on national
television on NBC's America's Got Talent as a
singing/dancing duet with friend Daniel Bass. Jamie
is now focusing on writing and recording original
music for her new album she is self producing, while
still performing in musicals and concerts throughout
the Tri-State area.

"Crafts of Chadds
Ford Sewing Studio" will present
a showcase of handmade quilts,
fashions, dolls, and more made
by children ages 7-18 on
Saturday, September 19th from
12noon-4pm. .
Come and vote for
your favorite sewn items in
categories, including: quilts,
fashionable clothing,
recycled denim, stuffed animals,
and more. Other activities
include: Learn to sew, see how
fabric is dyed from natural
products, and find out who will
win the highest honor, “The
President’s Award.” Watch and
vote while four students compete
in a
Challenge Project from
12:30-2:30p. A
fashion show will begin
at 2:30p, followed by a concert
by pop artist Jamie Marie.
Handmade autumn crafts will be
sold, and lunch and a bake sale
will be available.
Bring the family
for a fun day and see how
creative children can be. Rain
date is Saturday, September

The Camp Meeting
is located at 320 Valleybrook
Road (Rte 261,) one mile South
of US Route 1 (Baltimore
Pike,) at the
Smithbridge Road traffic light.
Chester Heights Camp Meeting
Association is an evangelical
religious organization that
works with area churches. They
are located on 31 acres, with
150 year-old trees, hiking
trails, children's playground,
several Victorian public
buildings, such as an original
gazebo that seats 120 people,
and 60 century-old Victorian
summer cottages. It’s listed on
the
National Registry of Historic
Places and “Save Americas
Treasures.”
