The Camp:
Do you LOVE singing? Have you ever wondered what it
would be like to record a song in a real professional
recording studio? Well then this is the camp for YOU!
The Week:
This camp if for
serious campers who love to sing! This week of camp will
be full of new experiences. The campers will learn 2
original songs written
JUST FOR THEM! The leaders of this camp, Jamie
Harris and Ashley De La Rosa, have used their talents
and creativity to write and produce 2 amazing original
songs for the campers in this camp! Through out the
week, the campers will learn the vocals and dances to
the songs, as well as one cover song. On Wednesday, the
campers will be driven to “Jamland Studio” (a recording
studio located near the Concord Mall). where they will
spend a few hours recording the 2 original songs and one
cover song. Then on Thursday, the campers will receive a
copy of the CD and a certificate for completing this
camp before performing their songs for their family and
friends at the “End of the Week Performance”.

The Camp:
Do you love to be on the stage? Do you love to watch
musicals? Ever wanted to be in a musical? Then this
is the camp for YOU!
The Week:
This week of camp is full of learning the songs,
dances, and lines to the musical “Malice in the
Palace” (based on the story of Esther in the Bible).
The first day will be auditions for the leads.
Campers are asked to come prepared to sing a verse
and chorus of any song, acapella, if they wish to
audition for a lead.
Scripts, costumes, and props will all be
provided.
On Friday, the campers will have dress rehearsal for
the musical in order to prepare to perform it that
night at 7:00pm for their family and friends.

"Crafts of Chadds
Ford Sewing Studio" will present
a showcase of handmade quilts,
fashions, dolls, and more made
by children ages 7-18 on
Saturday, September 19th from
12noon-4pm. .
Come and vote for
your favorite sewn items in
categories, including: quilts,
fashionable clothing,
recycled denim, stuffed animals,
and more. Other activities
include: Learn to sew, see how
fabric is dyed from natural
products, and find out who will
win the highest honor, “The
President’s Award.” Watch and
vote while four students compete
in a
Challenge Project from
12:30-2:30p. A
fashion show will begin
at 2:30p, followed by a concert
by pop artist Jamie Marie.
Handmade autumn crafts will be
sold, and lunch and a bake sale
will be available.
Bring the family
for a fun day and see how
creative children can be. Rain

The Camp Meeting
is located at 320 Valleybrook
Road (Rte 261,) one mile South
of US Route 1 (Baltimore
Pike,) at the
Smithbridge Road traffic light.
Chester Heights Camp Meeting
Association is an evangelical
religious organization that
works with area churches. They
are located on 31 acres, with
150 year-old trees, hiking
trails, children's playground,
several Victorian public
buildings, such as an original
gazebo that seats 120 people,
and 60 century-old Victorian
summer cottages. It’s listed on
the
National Registry of Historic
Places and “Save Americas
Treasures.”
