Our History and Historic Photos We're truly blessed with an abundant history of good people who did great things, and those who documented it for us to enjoy. Choose from several historic articles by David Correll, George Ormsby or John T. Pedlow (campmeeting president from 1917-1945,) an article on her Masters Thesis on Camp Meeting by Melissa Buchanan and a comprehensive and highly informative, 41 page application for our approved status on the National Registry of Historic Places, compiled by Wise Preservation. And if you're looking for lots of historic photos, you'll find them in our gallery by clicking here. We hope you enjoy reading about our heritage, of which we're very proud. If you have any historic photos of campmeeting, which we may use, please contact Pat Smith at (610) 494-4707 or psmith610@gmail.com For more information on history in our area, please click here to see our Links page.
