Ruthie is a sensational Christian song stylist from North Carolina with a wide variety of country, bluegrass and contemporary Gospel, as well a heartfelt testimony and a contagious laughter. Ruthie has published twenty original Gospel songs with a message of hope and renewal. Her performance at camp meeting last year, ended with a standing ovation. Be sure not to miss this enjoyable and inspiring experience. The concert and refreshments are free. A few of the historic 65 Victorian cottages can also be toured a half hour prior to the concert.
The Camp Meeting is located at 320 Valleybrook Road (Rte 261,) one mile South
of US Route 1 (Baltimore Pike,) directly opposite the intersection where
Smithbridge Road meets 261. Chester Heights Camp Meeting Association is an evangelical religious
organization that works with area churches. They are located on 31 acres, with
150 year-old trees, hiking trails, children's playground, several Victorian
public buildings, such as an original gazebo that seats 120 people, and 60
century-old Victorian summer cottages. It’s listed on the National Registry of
Historic Places and “Save Americas Treasures.” The website is
